I spent a lot of my time TDY. A lot of the guys I don't remember their names but faces. I arrived the last few days of 1969 , first few days of 1970. One of the guys I was good friends with was "Wild Bill Stewart" earthscraper. I remember SGt. Johnson when i first arrived, a black guy. Sgt. Bon Giovanni with a handlebar mustache. Sidney Jones, grader operator from new mexico Everrett Moore from east liverpool ohio. Bob Wright, from Brownsville, Texas, Sgt Gates. sgt mckee, survey team. I was in bunker 2. Macelroy, water truck driver. Williams water truck driver. many others i can't think of at the moment. Lt, Craig made 1st lt, then captain, then major and was sent to headqtrs. Little, a Sgt. quave I think thats how you spell it.

I spent most of my time in the brush guarding for the equipment operators. I spent some time with a roller and later picking up water with a water tank down by the big bridge.

Right when I was leaving they were planning on moving to a new camp (an old abandoned us army camp above B company) with part of D company. I can't remember the name of the camp but it was real moutainous. When i got back to Ft. Meade the other guys said i was lucky to get out of there because they had a big attack up there.
