Robert Vincent Simons was a Sergent during the conflict in Vietnam. HIs tour of duty began on April 5th of 1966. He served for 8 years.

Sgt. Simons fell as a casualty of war on August 15th, 1968. His life was cut short in Bein Hoa, South Vietnam. Classified as a non-hostile casualty, he was considered a ground casualty, killed in a vehicle crash. His body was recovered.
